The 1st Ward is a culturally rich and diverse region of Chicago’s Near Northwest Side consisting of the Wicker Park, Bucktown, East Village, West Town, Ukrainian Village, Logan Square, and Humboldt Park neighborhoods.
The 1st Ward Democrats is an organization of likeminded citizens advocating the Democratic Party ideals of equality, community improvement, safety and advancement for all; to improve the 1st Ward community and progress the quality of life for its residents through community service and political and government engagement to elect candidates and support elected officials that will advance our cause.
